Mobile network research company OpenSignal has released a new report listing the 15 countries in the world with the fastest 5G internet in the world. The report, titled Benchmarking the Global 5G Experience — November 2021, revealed the results of the 5G network download and upload speed tests in various countries, including countries in Asia, America, Europe, and the Middle East. From the report, it was revealed that South Korea is the country with the fastest download speed in the world. Meanwhile, Norway is the country with the fastest upload speed in the world. The results were obtained after OpenSignal conducted a 5G speed test for countries in the world in the period August 1, 2021 to October 29, 2021. Indonesia has not been included in the list released by OpenSignal. The 5G network in Indonesia can indeed be said to be new for a period of time.
Telkomsel as the first 5G operator in Indonesia only held it last June and can only be felt in certain cities. Indosat Ooredoo and XL Axiata followed later with limited coverage.

From the OpenSignal report, South Korea has been named the country with the fastest download speed in the world, with an average download speed of 5G internet reaching 423.8 Mbps. South Korea managed to outperform 14 other countries, which have average download speeds in the range of 355-189 Mbps. For the second position in the list of 15 countries with the fastest download speed is Norway. This country on the Scandinavian peninsula has an average download speed of 355.3 Mbps. Then there are Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates which are in the third and fourth places, each with an average download speed of 320 Mbps and 309 Mbps.
