Spotify Tries TikTok-like Features, Here’s What It Looks Like

The short video trend popularized by TikTok has made other platforms come up with a similar feature. But, apparently it’s not just social media platforms that are attracted to making short video features. The streaming music application Spotify is also called attracted to TikTok-like features. The feature, named “Discover”, will display music videos that will be displayed vertically. While scrolling (scrolling the screen), users can skip or stop to watch music videos that appear in the feed. They can also give likes or likes on the video.

There is also a three-dot icon next to the heart icon, where users can see information about the song. This feature appears in the fourth tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the app. Precisely located between the Home and Search menus. This was revealed by Chris Messina, an activist for startup issues and social media from the United States. In a tweet uploaded to an account with handle @chrismessina, he uploaded a screenshot of the Discover menu location as well as a video snippet of how it looks very similar to TikTok.
