Nvidia Releases New High End VGA RTX 3000 Series

Who doesn’t know the Nvidia RTX VGA?
RTX is a high end series released by Nvidia in the VGA sector.
Nvidia has finally officially announced their latest graphics card, the GeForce RTX 3000 Series. The three products that are present in the GeForce RTX 3000 Series are the RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, which bring quite a significant performance increase.
As previously rumored, the GeForce RTX 3000 series brings the Nvidia Ampere architecture. Built on Samsung’s 8nm process, Ampere is equipped with Nvidia’s second-generation Ray Tracing Core and third-generation Tensor Core. The GeForce RTX 3090, RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 are also the first Nvidia consumer graphics cards to come with PCIe 4.0 support.
GeForce RTX 3090
The GeForce RTX 3090 is the highest variant of this series. This graphics card has three slots measuring 12.3 x 5.4 inches (313 x 138mm). In terms of performance, Nvidia claims the GeForce RTX 3090 is up to 50% faster than the Titan RTX.
The GeForce RTX 3090 is intended for 8K gaming at 60FPS, featuring 10,496 CUDA cores that feature a boost clock of up to 1.7 GHz. There’s also 24GB 19.5 Gbps GDDR6X memory with a 384-bit memory interface. This graphics card has a TDP of 350W (thermal design power) and requires two 8-pin PCIe power connectors.
The GeForce RTX 3090 is the only Ampere-based graphics card that supports SLI via Nvidia’s NVLink connector.
GeForce RTX 3080
Then the next is the GeForce RTX 3080 which is the flagship SKU product of this Apere series. Nvidia promises twice the performance of the previous GeForce RTX 2080. According to Nvidia, the GeForce RTX 3080 is capable of providing a perfect 60 Fps gaming experience at 4K resolution even with Ray Tracing enabled.
The GeForce RTX 3080 comes in at 11.2 x 4.4 inches (285 x 112mm), using up to 8,704 CUDA cores hitting 1.71GHz. 10GB of GDDR6X memory is connected via a 320-bit memory bus.
Like the GeForce RTX 3090, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 also has a TDP of 320W. So this graphics card also relies on a pair of 8-pin PCIe power connectors.
GeForce RTX 3070
And the GeForce RTX 3070 will be the most affordable option, but still have higher performance than the RTX 2080Ti.
The GeForce RTX 3070 measures 9.5 x 4.4 inches (242 x 112mm) and packs 5,888 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The maximum clock on this model is 1.73 GHz, with 256-bit memory. The GeForce RTX 3070 has a TDP (220W), which requires only one 8-pin PCIe power connector to operate.
The three lineups of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 series offer three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs and one HDMI 2.1 port. Given the power requirements, Nvidia recommends a 750W power supply for the GeForce RTX 3090 and GeForce RTX 3080, while the GeForce RTX 3070 can run optimally with a 650W power supply.
Price

Nvidia also recommends this graphics card to be paired with high-end systems such as the Intel Core i9-10900K, so users can get high performance but with low power.
For the price, the RTX 3090 is priced at USD 1499 or around IDR 22 million, the RTX 3080 is priced at USD 699 or around IDR 10 million and the RTX 3070 for USD 499 or around IDR 7 million.
