Health is fundamental for every human being to realize his maximum potential. Health is irreplaceable for human life so it is recognized as a human right, said Kavadya Syska, Coordinator of the Food Technology Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Nahdlatul Ulama University Purwokerto who is also the Coordinator of the SDGs Center for the Food Technology Study Program. Ensuring healthy lives and supporting well-being for all at all ages
We all know how important good health is. Health affects everything from our ability to enjoy life and the work we do. For this reason, the aim is to ensure that everyone has health insurance and access to safe and effective treatment and vaccines. The world had made great progress in the 25 years before the SDGs—preventable child deaths fell by more than half, as did maternal mortality. However, there are also figures that are still very high, such as 6 million children who die before reaching the age of 5 years or AIDS which is still the leading cause of adolescent death in sub-Saharan Africa. We can change this situation and make good health more than just wishful thinking.
