Firefighters have stepped in
Quoting the Liputan6.com News channel, Jakarta Damkar Public Relations Officer, Mulat Wijayanto said, as many as 22 cars had been deployed to the location.
Mulat said that until now it was observed that thick smoke was still covering the Kuningan Cyber \u200bBuilding, South Jakarta.
“Object on the 2nd floor, information is that there are victims trapped,” he said in a written statement, Thursday afternoon.
Mulat explained that the team was still working to extinguish the fire. “There are 100 personnel involved,” he said.
Cyber \u200bI building in Kuningan Barat, South Jakarta, was previously hit by a fire in 2015.
