Tempe mendoan, typical food of Banyumas Regency, Central Java officially designated as an intangible Cultural Heritage (WBTB) Indonesia. The determination is decided through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Higher Education (Ministry of Research and technology) in the Determination of the intangible Cultural Heritage of Indonesia Year 2021 in Jakarta on Friday (29\/10\/2021). Last year, tempe mendoan was proposed to be of cultural heritage but a new set this year. Previously, there have been several types of the culture in Indonesia which is recognized by the world, through the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
