However, the disease caught the world’s attention even more when Jobs gave the keynote address for the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in 2006. He also reportedly underwent a lot of treatment and therapy to fight his illness until he died in August 2011. Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple on August 24, 2011, and died a few weeks later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
